Adrian Taylor has never forgotten one glorious moment from his high school days in St. Louis in the early 1970s. Taylor wasn’t a captain of the football team who threw a game-winning touchdown pass nor was he a local track star, sprinting to victory in the state championship in his senior year.
No, Taylor’s moment was one of pure youthful hijinks: the time a group of older girls pinned him down in the parking lot and tickled him until he laughed uncontrollably for almost an hour.
That feeling is something he has been trying to recapture for more than 35 years visiting private fetish clubs in Las Vegas and Los Angeles and hiring sometimes as many as four girls at a time to tickle him.
Taylor, who is 50 and who lives in Las Vegas, said his girlfriend of more than a decade doesn’t mind.
“We call it the ‘tickling girls,’” Taylor said. “She’ll say, ‘He’s going to see his tickling girls.’ She’s happy that I do it because she doesn’t want to accommodate me. "
Taylor is part of a growing community of tickling fetishists, people who experience a heightened form of sexual intimacy or erotic pleasure from tickling someone, being tickled or watching someone being tickled. The fetish’s popularity has grown in the past decade due to the popularity of web forums, where ticklers can come together to chat, plan events or exchange material, and the evolution of video production technology that allows more people to produce and distribute fetish material on the cheap.
“Tickling is a huge fetish,” said Master Jay, 45, owner of Bleufetish Video, a New Jersey production studio that distributes tickling videos and other fetish material. “It has come up over the years to become one of the top fetishes out there.” ______
